The rain is here, and so are we! The truck is loaded with filled sandbags and we’re running deliveries around Santa Barbara today, dropping them at doorways, garage doors and driveways before the water has a chance to find its way in.
If you’ve been meaning to grab sandbags “before the next storm,” this is the next storm. Here’s what we’re seeing out there and how to get set up fast.
The free self-serve fill stations are a great resource, but they mean finding a shovel, filling every bag yourself, lifting 30 to 40 pounds per bag into your car, and doing it all in the rain, usually right when everyone else in town has the same idea. For a lot of people that just isn’t realistic: older homeowners, anyone with a bad back, busy families, and owners of second homes who aren’t even in town.
Our sandbag delivery service skips all of that. The bags show up already filled, and with placement we lay them right where you need them, so there’s nothing left for you to carry.
Santa Barbara, Montecito, Goleta, Carpinteria, Summerland, Hope Ranch and Isla Vista. If you’re just outside that area, text us and we’ll tell you honestly if we can make it. During a storm the route fills up fast, so the earlier you reach out the better.
Jack’s Junk Removal is a locally owned Santa Barbara crew. Most of the year we haul junk, and when the storms roll in we deliver sandbags too. Same-day and next-day delivery are usually available. See sandbag delivery details and pricing, or call or text (925) 915-7434 and we’ll get you on the list.
